The crowd rose to their feet as Lunatics of Arianrhod's Fedele Panza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casper Claes. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Tammaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Vanderstraeten didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fedele Panza. 28 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro. Cristoforo Tammaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casper Claes was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Fedele Panza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fedele Panza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 35th minute, Yves Dervaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Panza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Hibai who took care of the corner kick. 41 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Tammaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Lunatics of Arianrhod got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Hibai ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Hibai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Fedele Panza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Belgium booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristoforo Tammaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 72nd minute. Nigel Devos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 82 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Tammaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. Belgium's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lunatics of Arianrhod had won, even though Belgium had held more of the ball.
