Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lisandro Nuñez kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Astigar came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Lisandro Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Astigar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Artur Quintas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Lopez in the 35th minute. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

SAN LORENZO FC's Hernan Ixidor was substituted for Dalmacio Gaitano. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Dario Astigar made a huge save. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Sebastian Iliana replaced Lisandro Nuñez. Edmondo Di Renzo's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmondo Di Renzo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Edmondo Di Renzo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Astigar having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Tiniebra to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Di Renzo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Tiniebra during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 96th minute of the match. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
