Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Duarte Félix made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Friend in the 10th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Brock Friend sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Brock Friend managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brock Friend was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany were furious when Sven Krakouer was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Brock Friend took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Brock Friend capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brock Friend really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Brock Friend blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Brock Friend came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Brock Friend got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albin Holweck to make the kick off. Arthur Bufi made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ulrich Stein sent off a good shot on target. After 52 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Duarte Félix struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Friend in the 55th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Duarte Félix struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. When Wágner Torres fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's protests and gave Wágner Torres a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Torres. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Brock Friend kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Friend in the 68th minute of play. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Friend in the 72nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Aguiar during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Ramón Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ramón Aguiar hit a great ball. 81 minutes in the game, Albin Holweck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arthur Bufi having to interfere. In the 87th minute Brock Friend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Germany's Albin Holweck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Bufi. Arthur Bufi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. Duarte Félix made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Brock Friend immediately put the ball in play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
