Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dario Astigar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Lisandro Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. After 31 minutes, Bas Tuitert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Sebastian Iliana replaced Lisandro Nuñez. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernie Siegel in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernie Siegel was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN LORENZO FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th minute, Ernie Siegel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Lv Tian Yuan got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Tiniebra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Iliana in the 56th minute of play. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save SAN LORENZO FC from getting a goal against them. Kees Mooiweer got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of play. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Sebastian Iliana. But to his dismay, Sebastian Iliana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of play. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO FC the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Isaias Rosario replaced Ernie Siegel. In the 80th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes, SAN LORENZO FC's Edmondo Di Renzo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAN LORENZO FC reached it. Kees Mooiweer hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Dario Astigar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Lopez in the 94th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SAN LORENZO FC to leave the ground with a draw.
