Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Laurențiu Pora sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Vittori was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laurențiu Pora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 17th minute of play forced Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Cazimir Angelescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Laurențiu Pora 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Pora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Italy got a corner. Hayalim Kedoshim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. Vladimiro Lauro replaced Laurențiu Pora. 62 minutes into the game, Carlos Puyol threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an all-out effort, Italy's Cazimir Angelescu threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Siricio Liotta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A sloppy throw-in by Carlos Puyol in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Carlos Puyol made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Lauro came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. After a rather tough play, Italy's Gomberto Picozzi got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Vladimiro Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Hayalim Kedoshim from getting a goal against them. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cazimir Angelescu made a huge save. The supporters of Italy booed when Hayalim Kedoshim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hayalim Kedoshim players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
