Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Antunes got free with Tommy Kahn in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Laércio Penha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 25 minutes in the game Bedri Aydıntan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Franz Beckenbauer. Laércio Penha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Franz Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granadero10's Vítor Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Penha in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Tana Rede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Tana Rede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute Tana Rede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tana Rede stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Granadero10's Tana Rede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 57 minutes into the game, Tana Rede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Tana Rede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Granadero10 made a substitution. Dráuzio Santos replaced Franz Beckenbauer. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Beniamin Madajczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tana Rede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Madajczyk in the 83rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Tomé Botelho in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Willy Stieler.
