Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Redbourn AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 10th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afiz Teo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute of the match Redbourn AFC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zafran Chuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Zafran Chuan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 27th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Chan hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 40th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronn Yi-Sheng to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Zafran Chuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Chan made a kick off. The supporters of Germany booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Teo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Chan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind.
