A collision led to Porto Sul Football getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aírton Britto hit a great ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Porto Sul Football's Leopoldo dos Santos got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Samuel Netto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Netto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Francesco Toldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Calisto Flayre sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute. With an all-out effort, Porto Sul Football's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Novaes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and César de Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. César de Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 37 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Calisto Flayre scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Alexander Mejía cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César de Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César de Moraes went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Porto Sul Football booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 80 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when César de Moraes came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachss short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Francesco Toldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Porto Sul Football's César de Moraes made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aírton Britto made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ademir Loyola immediately put the ball in play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Porto Sul Football fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
