Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Real Juniors's Roland Redondo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Juniors's Christian Carballo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 16th minute of play. Enzo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Carballo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yonko Tarchev hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Christian Carballo. Real Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gust Ennemans made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Christian Carballo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Ahmet Efe Suheyl made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Real Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christian Carballo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Ahmet Efe Suheyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Real Juniors's corner Roland Redondo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Christian Carballo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 73rd minute. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Christian Carballo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Christian Carballo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of play forced Real Juniors's goalkeeper Christian Carballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Yonko Tarchev hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Enzo Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 95th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Carballo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Real Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
