Astor Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Rasvan Cristescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BloodHounds F.C.'s Matias Valiente got a free kick in the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Leobardo was the one to do the kick off. Costica Vladimiri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Astor Ruy made a huge save. 53 minutes into the match, Romania's Rasvan Cristescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Ruy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Romania's Adam Olaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. BloodHounds F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Costica Vladimiri scored to the left of an out of position Astor Ruy, making the score, 0-2. Romania made a substitution. Octavian Vaduva replaced Costica Vladimiri. Astor Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Vaduva, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Octavian Vaduva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Vaduva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Stinga got free with Astor Ruy in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavian Vaduva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Astor Ruy came out and tried to block the shot, but Octavian Vaduva slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 82nd minute. BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Stinga in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes BloodHounds F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Nascimento. If Mesut Özil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
