Bernardo Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th minute of the match Slovakia got a corner. Agro Imortal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pavol Koleno ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bernardo Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Holub in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agro Imortal's José Pedro Montenegro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Suchy, made in the 26th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Godoi during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Wanderson Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Holub in the 35th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Bernardo Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Oliver Holub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Holub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 47th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Bernardo Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metod Mlynar to make the kick off. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Munhoz made a huge save. Oliver Holub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Agro Imortal getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wanderson Godoi hit a great ball. Ondrej Biskup kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Munhoz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Luís Fabiano Aparecido got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Munhoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute, Metod Mlynar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Agro Imortal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Metod Mlynar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bernardo Munhoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metod Mlynar's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kornel Jahoda made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oliver Holub immediately put the ball in play.
