A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nenko Reza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Makaay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Guo Ao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Lucas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fabricio Andrade hit a great ball. Roy Makaay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Zeledon Vachon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zeledon Vachon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Villaverde Celeste Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zeledon Vachon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villaverde Celeste Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nenko Reza. Felipinho Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dino Manfredi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Ao in the 80th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Nenko Reza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 85th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Ao in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Tang Qian Xiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 97th minute of play. The Portugal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Villaverde Celeste Clube from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
