Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Minichiello started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Bertram Svenningsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Zaccardi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Alessandrini. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 25th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Gianfrancesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Alvaro Aversano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Polidori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of XMAS booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Ernesto Minichiello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keld Paulsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Mikkel Wulff dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Polidori, 0-2. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 61st minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes in the game, Mikkel Wulff fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Armando Polidori having to interfere. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. XMAS's Eugenio Casiraghi was substituted for Ernesto Minichiello. XMAS made a substitution. Alessio Ascoli replaced Christian Zaccardi. Concetto Marinucci made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carter Gizzi. Chris Nygaard in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Polidori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 75th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, one of XMAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armando Polidori. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eugenio Casiraghi managed to get in a good position for a shot. XMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Casiraghi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Casiraghi in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Ascoli came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
