After 12 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Panpili was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Panpili. Jacinto Panpili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, The Hanging Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Jacinto Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Hanging Tree's Americo Ignado got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, The Hanging Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balazs Lajos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balazs Lajos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Balazs Lajos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jorge Pirmin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Hungary were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jacinto Panpili made a huge save. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Panpili having to make a save. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Panpili having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, The Hanging Tree's goalkeeper Jacinto Panpili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Jacinto Panpili was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Balazs Lajos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Balazs Lajos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nicolas Lia struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Hanging Tree. Bakos Endre made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Major Barna. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jacinto Panpili made a huge save. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacinto Panpili despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes Boros Benedek shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Jacinto Panpili when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Hungary played a much better game than The Hanging Tree and deserved their victory. The The Hanging Tree players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
