Yalapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Biscotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The throw-in from Rodolfo Miranda in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Yalapa's Tarmo Helm. 18 minutes into the match, Fermin Dolfo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Fermin Dolfo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Dolfo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 28th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 29th minute of the match. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Edwardo made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fermin Dolfo however managed to control. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Fermin Dolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 39th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes in the game Rodolfo Miranda did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felipe Barreto. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Yalapa's Atilano Dino was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Dino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 60th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Diego Armando Junior. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Diego Armando Junior got a free kick in the 68th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Dino in the 76th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basri İhtiyar having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Graciano Coutinho notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yalapa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Caetano Moreira scored to the left of an out of position Basri İhtiyar, making the score, 3-2. Basri İhtiyar made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. 98 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yalapa were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Portugal to leave the ground with a draw.
