Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Floris Claeys in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Monitor Huáscar's Yu Bing Xiao. Ottó Fejes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Apostol Sokolov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apostol Sokolov was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monitor Huáscar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After 47 minutes of play Monitor Huáscar's Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck to maneuver through the defense. Monitor Huáscar's Milian Lopez was substituted for Johnny Nyström. After 49 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck.

The wind increased when Ottó Fejes made the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ottó Fejes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apostol Sokolov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 55th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ottó Fejes in the 56th minute of play. Paulo Fallabes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Ottó Fejes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ottó Fejes went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Rico in the 71st minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Apostol Sokolov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Apostol Sokolov in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquito Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Carabajo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Monitor Huáscar were victorious despite being under pressure from Belgium for much of the match.
