Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guga Trancoso started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, PIAUÍ FC's Gilvan Azevedo got a free kick in the 4th minute. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serginho Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Guga Trancoso sped through Italy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. Serginho Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serginho Nogueira was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PIAUÍ FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina scored to the left of an out of position Serginho Nogueira, making the score, 2-3. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 61st minute of play forced PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A wasted opportunity for PIAUÍ FC. 82 minutes into the game, PIAUÍ FC's Mete Gøl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Serginho Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With his leg Serginho Nogueira managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Italy's Adriano Curto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siricio Liotta in the 92nd minute. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Gilvan Azevedo with Víktor Santos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 94 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Santos came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Santos in the 94th minute of play.
