The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Massa got free with Arnout Reekers in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldir Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. The throw-in from Gust Ennemans in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's 梅奕震. In the 34th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Waldir Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot.
