In the 93rd minute of the match, Sergio Ruiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremy Nicholas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spain played a much better game than New England Minas and deserved their victory. The New England Minas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
