A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. Hector Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael Corleone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Michael Corleone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Village Saint Charles FRC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doctor Alban to maneuver through the defense. If Michael Corleone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Hector Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Corleone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Michael Corleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Village Saint Charles FRC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Corleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Corleone to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Michael Corleone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Herensuge in the 59th minute of play. Village Saint Charles FRC made a substitution. Llorienzo Varela replaced Silverio Berart. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llorienzo Varela in the 63rd minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Corleone in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Herensuge, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Village Saint Charles FRC.
