Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grabiel Escorcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Nacional were awarded a corner. Xu Sha went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Dominik Tarasek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 30th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Luis Rodríguez in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Xu Sha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grabiel Escorcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Grabiel Escorcia notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's attentive Caetano Moreira managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Candido made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Nacional's Cristiano Aveiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Bastos during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nacional had won after a very even match.
