Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Mateo Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Millan having to interfere. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Sirius Dog's Norberto Cugat. But to his dismay, Norberto Cugat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jeronimo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Sirius Dog booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Chano in the 34th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Chano in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Sirius Dog booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Berriotxoa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play forced Sirius Dog's goalkeeper Jeronimo Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jeronimo Millan to make any attempt to save it. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Jeronimo Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Lars Meesters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Sirius Dog getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. He walked away shaking his head. In the 74th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Wim Wilmes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90th minute, Terje Sundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sirius Dog fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 95th minute Gervasio Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sirius Dog support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
