Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Anabolic Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Joakim Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krister Thedins short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Hökkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Joakim Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Eklund in the 26th minute of play. Gustaf Eklund was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Anabolic Boys's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 33rd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krister Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Ilgov in the 42nd minute. Anabolic Boys were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dani Alves took the corner. Gustaf Eklunds short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Artmann came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Anabolic Boys from getting a goal against them. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joakim Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Anabolic Boys's Benjamin Artmann. But to his dismay, Benjamin Artmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Anabolic Boys from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Hökkvist was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Artmann in the 78th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Joakim Hökkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gustaf Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Benjamin Artmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Hökkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
