Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kenn Skou kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Raul Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Bertram Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Bertram Svenningsen suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Denmark made a substitution. Malthe Lassen replaced Bertram Svenningsen. 15 minutes into the match, Malthe Lassen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Raul Jax. Raul Jax was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Forssberg. After 24 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Loren. After recieving a nice pass, Denmark's Chris Nygaard tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Kenn Skou with Malthe Lassen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Jax came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sebastian Berto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. The supporters of Denmark booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Genaro Quintyn in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Raul Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alejo Loren's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Loren helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Loren. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Aureliano Hunfredo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Forssberg in the 62nd minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raul Jax, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chris Nygaard scored 0-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Jax, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes in the game Genaro Quintyn did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Thor Forssberg. Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Thor Forssberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Forssberg in the 85th minute of play. Thor Forssberg struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D Atlético Villa Gesell. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
