Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco was slow to take the kick. During this time Sirius Dog's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sirius Dog's Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Chano came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sirius Dog's Jeronimo Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 16th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute. Netherlands's Lars Meesters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeronimo Millan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Gervasio Chano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jeronimo Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Chano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 33 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Jeronimo Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco. Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Miro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Jeronimo Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 60th minute of play. Jeronimo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sirius Dog's Justo Fonda was substituted for Frederick Toeback. After 68 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Milan Svobodník. In the 90th minute, Gervasio Chano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Terje Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirius Dog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terje Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sirius Dog were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
