The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Barreal FC's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Tepedino came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Tepedino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Lope in the 53rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Yu Guang Chen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Yu Guang Chen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dário Tepedino, 0-5. 61 minutes into the game, Joakim Giliusson threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 64th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Dário Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 70th minute. In the 88th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. Dário Tepedino was a little too slow when Guiscardo Davide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-7.
