Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Almir Tróia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Almir Tróia's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almir Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. Almir Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Passos in the 18th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Almir Tróia sent off a good shot on target. Adalberto Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Chris Nygaard took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldo Barral. Ronaldo Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 42nd minute of the game Hudson de Toledo made a throw-in which Almir Tróia played forward. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Almir Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ronaldo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 51st minute of play. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ronaldo Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. The audience was convinced that Almir Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after CORINTHIANS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronaldo Barral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Tróia came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CORINTHIANS's Caio Paiva was substituted for Artur Bueno. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Simon Bendtsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Steen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Denmark's Lars Steen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Abel Schmidt. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CORINTHIANS.
