After taking down the ball on ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's corner Albérico Calçada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vinicio Felipo quite easily take care of the ball. If Gerardo Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Ernesto Playo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dário Veríssimo. Ernesto Playo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. In the 89thth minute of the game Ernesto Playo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Dário Veríssimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Salazar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vinicio Felipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC. The EL CERVECERO F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing EL CERVECERO F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
