With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diederick Englebert in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo De Jonge having to make a save. Eddy Laporte struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Vliegplein. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Eddy Laporte sent off a good shot on target. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a KFC Vliegplein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. After taking down the ball on KFC Vliegplein's corner Norbert Suetens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Eddy Laporte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Octaaf Bosmans came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the KFC Vliegplein fans jumped to their feet.
