In the 5th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tiburcio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute of play. Florentino Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Lauaxeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tiburcio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 25th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 38 minutes into the match, Juventus Argentina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Tiburcio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Teobaldo Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Presebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. A collision led to Juventus Argentina FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Moises Enaut hit a great ball. Tiburcio Lauaxeta came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Etor made a kick off. In the 59th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Kees Mooiweer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Netherlands's attentive Lars Meesters managed to snatch the ball when Lázaro Rodriguez made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Igor Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiburcio Lauaxeta came out and tried to block the shot, but David Eikelkamp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Lauaxeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Juventus Argentina FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Moises Enaut hit a great ball. Tiburcio Lauaxeta came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tiburcio Lauaxeta made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Florentino Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiburcio Lauaxeta. Tiburcio Lauaxeta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands played a much better game than Juventus Argentina FC and deserved their victory. The Juventus Argentina FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
