Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after U21 Totoras F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. If Thomas Vollmari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kees Mooiweer made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Totoras F.C.'s Claudio Machado. A collision led to U21 Totoras F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Albino Corderun hit a great ball. U21 Totoras F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when David Eikelkamp scored to the left of an out of position Bruce Wayne, making the score, 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Bruce Wayne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands played a much better game than U21 Totoras F.C. and deserved their victory. The U21 Totoras F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
