In the 4th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Riedl to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Manuel Cordarin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Auer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. DONPATO's Benedito de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Benedito de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Maier to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Austria's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lambis Tsekouras 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Benedito de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Benedito de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Benedito de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Auer was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After having played for 30 minutes, Benedito de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DONPATO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedito de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Benedito de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedito de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Benedito de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Benedito de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito de Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. Fabio Auer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 61 minutes of play, DONPATO's Uriel Clodio made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benedito de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Tsekouras in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Benedito de Sousa put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fabio Schneider hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Emiliano Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Emiliano Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa in the 88th minute of play. Benedito de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DONPATO. DONPATO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
