Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute of the match Gremengo FCCMZ got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Perttu Bado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Perttu Bado made a great header on Gremengo FCCMZ's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Efraim Morais got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Gremengo FCCMZ's Lenílson Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 39 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edinho Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Gremengo FCCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 46 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efraim Morais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Edinho Neto however easily saved by the left post. Edinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute of the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edinho Neto could save by the left post. In the 79th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edinho Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Gremengo FCCMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gremengo FCCMZ.
