In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Pontiac Bandit's Elias Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 17th minute of play. Edelmiro Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Velasco went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Aaron Sandalio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Sandalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Aaron Sandalio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute.
