Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Henning in the 12th minute of play. Mao Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, Balázs Sass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Giannetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Lustosa in the 28th minute. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Juniors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Henning in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mao Zhen Hong saved Academia Monte Gordo from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Arana Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Henning in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Fabrício Lustosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ugonotti were awarded a corner. Emanuele Cicchinelli went to the cornerflag to take it. Torsten Henning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Mao Zhen Hong made a huge save. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Christian Westerstrand replaced Fabrício Lustosa. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Balázs Sass with Andrea Selvi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Achille Giannetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Westerstrand in the 70th minute of the match. Ugonotti made a substitution. Tal Heggit replaced Torsten Henning. In the 74th minute of the game Balázs Sass made a throw-in which Cesur Atik played forward. After a rather tough play, Ugonotti's Andrea Selvi got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Yu Wei Bo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yu Wei Bo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesur Atik in the 81st minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tal Heggit scored 0-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mao Zhen Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Tal Heggit took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Mao Zhen Hong to make any attempt to save it. In the 94th minute Christian Westerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Giannetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ugonotti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
