The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Perivaldo Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascoal Antas in the 5th minute of play. Ricardo Atarratze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. FC Fura Balizas's Kai Schirmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Bezerra in the 15th minute of play. Kai Schirmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Salgado in the 16th minute of play. Pascoal Antas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Oiteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Pascoal Antas came free, but Horacio Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Fura Balizas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filipe Prates in the 30th minute. The corner led FC Fura Balizas's Filipe Prates to fire away a dangerous shot which Horacio Ponc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Horacio Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Antas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Cássio Rocks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kai Schirmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Antas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Aloísio Salgado hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kai Schirmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Salgado in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Charlie 舒. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Maurício Bezerra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daníel Dal Bello to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Salgado came free, but Kai Schirmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Ponc was a little too slow when Pascoal Antas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 60th minute, Pascoal Antas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Fura Balizas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Oiteiras getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Charlie 舒 hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Oiteiras defense, Pascoal Antas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Ponc. The Oiteiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Ponc should have stopped the shot. Charlie 舒 made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fura Balizas's Angélico Cavaco. In the 71st minute, Aloísio Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oiteiras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Pascoal Antas scored to the left of an out of position Horacio Ponc, making the score, 0-4. Alberto Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Alberto Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Aquilino Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kai Schirmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Furtado in the 79th minute of play. Pascoal Antas took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Ponc. Horacio Ponc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Gaspar Infante fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fura Balizas's protests and gave Gaspar Infante a yellow card for diving instead. Perivaldo Furtado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kai Schirmer. FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Horacio Ponc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tol Adas in the 89th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Fura Balizas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
