Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Quadros came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilson Quadros went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel de Lara got free with Wilson Amorim in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Gilson Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aguinhas's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rod Marsland got free with Wilson Amorim in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Rod Marsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Tadeo Txerran sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, David Malsepica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Portugal's Viriato Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gilson Quadros made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Queirós. Aguinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 57 minutes into the game, Portugal's Viriato Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Quadros in the 62nd minute of the match. Aguinhas made a substitution. Mazarópi Orange replaced Rod Marsland. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. The supporters of Portugal booed when Aguinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolomeu Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Queirós having to interfere. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazarópi Orange in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Fernandez in the 73rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Walmyr Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Gilson Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Gilson Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Mazarópi Orange came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Aguinhas's Mazarópi Orange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Aguinhas's Walmyr Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 93rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Felipinho Amorim put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Walmyr Queirós.
