In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Suscal's goalkeeper Chatruc Valentin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Chatruc Valentin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the CD Suscal defense, Albin Holweck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chatruc Valentin. The CD Suscal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chatruc Valentin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chatruc Valentin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of CD Suscal booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Schwerner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germany's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
