Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Darryl Buckners short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Rosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Florencio Carlomagno made a great header on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Darryl Buckner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonin Leroyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Izel. The corner led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Mariano Silbestre getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Mariano Silbestre got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Rosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Leopoldo Rosa made a great header on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 45th minute of play. Germany were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. The corner led to Germany's Linus Schwerner getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Darryl Buckner made the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Izel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dep Colonia Avellaneda's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Silbestre. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Darryl Buckner put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darryl Buckner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 78th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Darryl Buckner sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albin Holweck during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
