In the 4th minute Baltasar Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiit Jaas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Merced AFC booed when Maximum Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stathis Koulouris. Cosme Filipo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiit Jaas having to make a save. When Baltasar Alfonso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tiit Jaas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kuuno Mari's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Salvador Lazcano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Merced AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Kuuno Mari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador Lazcano. The goal made the score 1-0. Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Künnapuu in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merced AFC's Anastasio Costante got a free kick in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Kuuno Mari put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Salvador Lazcano. Salvador Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Künnapuu in the 36th minute of the match. Dario Estebe hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Maximum Power's Ediberto Queiroz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merced AFC. Tiit Jaas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Damião in the 42nd minute of play. Salvador Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuuno Mari in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Stathis Koulouris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kuuno Mari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiit Jaas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Damião in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Koulouris in the 52nd minute of play forced Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merced AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cosme Filipo in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuuno Mari in the 57th minute of play forced Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kuuno Mari came free, but Salvador Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Koulouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Merced AFC were furious when Lorenzo Lartaun was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Merced AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lorenzo Lartaun hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Merced AFC's José Carlos Damião got a free kick in the 85th minute. Salvador Lazcano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuuno Mari's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Kuuno Mari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Lazcano was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Tom Võsandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Võsandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
