The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Santxo Vila the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Picamoixons FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Santxo Vila had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Vorwärts Lübeck booed when Picamoixons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santxo Vila didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillerme Carro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramón Rivera got free with Abubakar Noach in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach got control of the ball when Ramón Rivera tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vorwärts Lübeck.
