Kemal Ungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience was convinced that José Carlos Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kemal Ungur was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th minute José Carlos Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kemal Ungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano got control of the ball when İzzet Kutlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as José Carlos Damião kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kemal Ungur. That made the score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. Cosme Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Dario Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merced AFC's Cosme Filipo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Alfonso hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cosme Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kemal Ungur having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, zon56's Altan Taycan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Lazcano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. When the match was over Merced AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than zon56 throughout the match.
