Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Liermann took the kick off in the first half of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Trzebczyk's goalie and right to Hansjörg Pothmer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Trzebczyk's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 6 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's Helge Pihlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Major narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vorwärts Lübeck's Helge Pihlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trzebczyk's goalkeeper Roch Major, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trzebczyk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Förster was slow to take the kick. During this time Vorwärts Lübeck's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Becker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roch Major. Trzebczyk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 17 minutes, Helge Pihlberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trzebczyk's Roch Major tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Trzebczyk's Roch Major played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Förster in the 22nd minute of play. Vorwärts Lübeck were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Trzebczyk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Förster took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Hansjörg Pothmer got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 23 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Helge Pihlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roch Major was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Vorwärts Lübeck were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Trzebczyk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Förster took the corner. The corner ended in Rafael Förster almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trzebczyk's Roch Major did a great save. When Vorwärts Lübeck's Helge Pihlberg in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trzebczyk's goalie prevented a goal. Hansjörg Pothmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maciej Galaska hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Pihlberg in the 43rd minute of play forced Trzebczyk's goalkeeper Roch Major to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Trzebczyk defense, Helge Pihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roch Major. The Trzebczyk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roch Major should have stopped the shot. In the 48th match minute, Trzebczyk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Winszman to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Helge Pihlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Helge Pihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Major. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helge Pihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Roch Major showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Vorwärts Lübeck were awarded a corner. Rafael Förster went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Vorwärts Lübeck's corner Rafael Förster fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roch Major quite easily take care of the ball. Roch Major showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Pihlberg in the 59th minute of the match. Vorwärts Lübeck's Severino Casero was substituted for Rafael Förster. In the 61st minute Vorwärts Lübeck were awarded a corner. Waldo Gawletta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vorwärts Lübeck's Severino Casero to fire away a dangerous shot which Roch Major despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Trzebczyk's Lukasz Piwowarski got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Vorwärts Lübeck got a corner. Trzebczyk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waldo Gawletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Helge Pihlberg had several of the Trzebczyk's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Roch Major as he didn't even see the shot coming. Roch Major made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Pihlberg in the 75th minute of play. Helge Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Major having to interfere. Trzebczyk's Roch Zawada was substituted for Zdzislaw Bryk. Helge Pihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helge Pihlberg took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roch Major. Roch Major dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Waldo Gawletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vorwärts Lübeck's Helge Pihlberg in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trzebczyk's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helge Pihlberg in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Major saved Trzebczyk from getting behind. Roch Major didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vorwärts Lübeck had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
