In the 20th minute Sílvio Luís Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafino Quilo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Czeslaw Marosz. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. Jimeno Gumaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Czeslaw Marosz made a huge save. Jimeno Gumaro scored 4-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Czeslaw Marosz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Los Espinillos FC's Czeslaw Marosz threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Janpier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Quilo got free with Czeslaw Marosz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Jimeno Gumaro made a precise shot to the right of Czeslaw Marosz. Powalina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Czeslaw Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Quilo in the 36th minute of play. Czeslaw Marosz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Tadeusz Gierasik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Powalina and the Los Espinillos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Powalina got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Gierasik. Czeslaw Marosz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafino Quilo went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Luís Cosme to make the kick off. When Benito Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Los Espinillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Rafe couldn't finish the play. Czeslaw Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Quilo in the 57th minute of play. Jimeno Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Czeslaw Marosz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czeslaw Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Gumaro in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Powalina booed when Los Espinillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position.
