Gunnar Lidberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gunnar Lidberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 43rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Mörknäs Electric Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Ekenberg to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Lidberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of play. Gunnar Lidberg was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gunnar Lidberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 61st minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mörknäs Electric Vikings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Trulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 73 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Danel came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Mörknäs Electric Vikings from getting a goal against them. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larkin Winkless didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mörknäs Electric Vikings supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
