Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulk Speed in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Marcell Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. In the 23rd minute of the match, Hulk Speed tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paolo Rossi's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Paolo Rossi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcell Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 38th minute of play. Hulk Speed hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcell Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Haaland to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Hulk Speed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Hulk Speed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Haaland in the 54th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Hulk Speed's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a little luck, Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Marcell Barovero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcell Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hulk Speed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Major Barna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcell Barovero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 70th minute. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Marcell Barovero made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Haaland in the 73rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Speed in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero got control of the ball when Hegedus Henrik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Rossi got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hungary booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute Hulk Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Roceira SC's Válbson Moraes to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Roceira SC got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Haaland ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Válbson Moraes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Hungary supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hungary would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
