After having played for 74 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaf Vestlund made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Jaen. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. With a little luck, 1984 Castelli Futbol's Kaan Safir got control of the ball when Adriano Curto tried to sneak it across the goal line.
