No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bent Streyder to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loke Skaanild in the 68th minute of play. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Claes Katsir was substituted for Halvor Gurre. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Tristan Nordlet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Molnit, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Molnit in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tristan Nordlet. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolomeu Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Holmkjar Hotspurs were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Portugal to leave the ground with a draw.
