Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Kourtis in the 9th minute. Bernd Beike's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 12 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harro Meier having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, YugiPeeK ✈'s Bernd Beike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Cecilio Jerrold dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Kostas Kourtis could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. Harro Meier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bernd Beike might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernd Beike ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Beike came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. YugiPeeK ✈'s Kostas Kourtis got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Harro Meier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Silvio Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

57 minutes into the match, Bernd Beike notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. György Anlohse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernd Beike's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 64 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After having played for 67 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harro Meier made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Kostas Kourtis struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YugiPeeK ✈. In the 75th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Kostas Kourtis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YugiPeeK ✈'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Kourtis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Julius Wegmann kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of YugiPeeK ✈ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. YugiPeeK ✈'s Bernd Beike got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
