A hard shot by Grzegorz Jaruzelski from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Henrich Slany's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Henrich Slany was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jurand Jakisz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. The Mazur Elk - koniec gry fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slovakia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
